Now in its fourth year, the Almus® award aims to recognise some of the significant developments that have taken place in pharmacy during this time and to acknowledge pharmacists’ insight, expertise and the many achievements they have demonstrated in supporting their patients.

Pharmacists throughout the UK are continuing to create new services, protocols and clinics which are proving to make a real difference to the safety and welfare of patients as well as shaping the future success of pharmacy. This award highlights the exemplary measures and patient safe systems established by pharmacists, recognising 'best practice' in medicines management, along with the insight and expertise that pharmacists demonstrate in supporting their patients.
