Almus Pharmaceuticals is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the first 'Patient Safety' award for UK pharmacies. This award has been designed to promote best practice in patient safety, inviting pharmacists and dispensing technicians to share their ideas and experiences with all those involved in patient care in community pharmacy.
The award aims to recognise the experience of pharmacists and technicians in creating practical solutions to the dispensing risks faced daily in pharmacies throughout the UK.

The winning entry will receive £750 plus an invitation to the award presentation at the prestigious gala evening on 18 November 2005 at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel. The runner-up will receive £250 with winning entries to be considered for publication at a later date.
